Pricing questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 30 minutes of transcription every month with no card required. Upgrade only when you need more minutes or features like speaker detection and summaries.
How are transcription minutes counted?
By the length of the audio or video you transcribe, rounded up to the next minute. Failed transcriptions are not charged. Unused minutes reset at the start of each billing period and don't roll over.
What happens if I run out of minutes?
You can still open, edit and export everything you've already transcribed. New transcriptions wait until your minutes reset — or you can upgrade to a plan with more minutes and continue right away.
Can I switch or cancel my plan?
Any time, from the billing page. Switching plans takes effect immediately and is prorated; cancellations apply at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your transcripts either way.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Yearly plans are billed once a year at ten times the monthly price — two months free. Both include exactly the same features and limits.
Do you offer refunds?
If something isn't working for you, email support@transkio.ai and we'll sort it out — see our Cancellation Policy for detail. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Which languages are supported?
Transcription works in every language our speech models support — including English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Hindi, Japanese and many more — on every plan. Translation between languages is available on paid plans.
