Transkio started from a simple frustration: turning a recording into usable text shouldn't take longer than the recording itself, and it shouldn't cost more than the meeting was worth. We build a transcription tool that's fast and accurate enough for daily use, and honest about the cases where it isn't.

We'd rather tell you where AI transcription still struggles — heavy accents, overlapping speech, poor audio — than oversell a perfect-transcript promise no tool can keep.

Privacy by default

Your recordings are yours. We don't use your audio or transcripts to train models, and you can delete your data whenever you want.

Free should mean free

No card required to start, no trial clock counting down. The free plan is a real plan, not a seven-day funnel.

Export to plain text, SRT, VTT and more, on every plan. Nothing you transcribe is locked into a format only we can open.

Our commitment

We handle your data under GDPR-aligned practices: your audio and transcripts are stored to serve your account, never sold, and deleted on request. We're equally upfront about limits — no transcription tool, AI or human, can guarantee 100% accuracy on poor audio, heavy accents, or several people talking over each other. We build the editor around that reality, so fixing what the AI gets wrong is quick rather than painful.
